About the role

You’ll be carrying out formwork and boxing for foundations in new builds, in a hands-on capacity whilst working closely with our general manager and senior project manager. Good time management and planning are essential as you'll be liaising with multiple parties including the client onsite, subcontractors, and suppliers. Supervision of multiple team members onsite may also be required. The role also requires a high standard of personal presentation and workmanship together with strong customer service skills.

A full (manual) NZ driver's license and a can-do attitude are essential to fit within our team culture and succeed in this role.

We're looking for someone with:   

• Previous experience in either formwork or foundations

• A willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Proficiency in demonstrating the safe use of power tools   

• Proficiency with the use of tablets, smartphones, and construction management software e.g. Buildertrend (preferred but not essential)

• Construct Safe, Site Safe, and First Aid certifications (preferred but not essential)

A bonus if you have experience in: 

• Landscaping

• Concrete placing and finishing

• Drainage 

• Carpentry

• Operatating excavation machinery
